Te Aka Kūmara o Aotearoa was first published in 1993 and we latter branded it as TAKOA.
Doing TAKOA was initially in response to an awareness about the centrality and power of whanaungatanga for Māori, and the need at the time to draw in, make and maintain a certain quality of connections with each other and too, to be able to share what we uniquely knew and had to give for our collective flourishing. We hope you enjoy exploring our latest edition and especially our new on-line platform and, look forward to your feedback. Nā tō rourou, nā taku rourou ka ora ai te iwi. |
